Congratulations to the Fresh Food for All Public Health Nutrition Policy Team for being unanimously selected as the 2018 Howard Baker Center Grand Policy Challenge grand prize winners!
The Public Health Nutrition Policy Team’s policy, Fresh Food for All, focused on improving the 2018 WIC Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) redemption rates in Knox County, Tennessee. The team was made up of nutrition graduate students, Chelsea Allison, Marleah Payne, and Marissa Black, and public health graduate student Jennifer Russomanno. The award comes with a $3,000 prize toward the implementation of their project.
