PUBH 201 students win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 2019 TPHA video contest

They’ve done it, again!

For the FOURTH year in a row, the undergraduates in our PUBH 201 “Introduction to Public Health” have brought home 1st place in the Tennessee Public Health Association’s (TPHA) Annual Student Video Challenge.  But this year,  instead of only 1st place, they also picked up 2nd and 3rd place, too!

To qualify for the contest, students chose a health and created a short video to educate, inform, and empower viewers.  TPHA honors the most effective video each year during National Public Health Week.
