The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has joined the nationwide effort to empower bystanders to help save lives in bleeding emergencies before professional help arrives by placing trauma kits around campus (https://prepare.utk.edu/ep/stop-the-bleed/). STOP the Bleed training prepares our community for use of these lifesaving resources. The training is free and no medical knowledge is necessary to take the course.
