2 new pregnancy-related publications in 1 month

Assistant Professor Samantha Ehrlich has two new publications in June.

The first article appeared in the June edition of The Lancet.  The piece, which Dr. Ehrlich co-authored, investigates the effectiveness of telehealth lifestyle interventions in reducing excess gestational weight gain in pregnant women.

Just a few days later, Dr. Ehrlich appeared as first author of a paper published in The Journal for the Measurement of Physical Behavior.  The article investigates the usage of wearable fitness devices in tracking the physical activity of pregnant women.  This article is of special note because one of Dr. Ehrlich’s co-authors is Amanda Casteel, a candidate in our doctoral program.
