The Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification is a nationally recognized certification that is administered by the National Commission of Health Education and Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC), which was founded in 1988. Holding a CHES certification, means that an individual has demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of the eight recognized areas of responsibility in the field of health education. Recipients generally hold a competitive edge in the job market, as too.
The next exam will take place in Fall 2024.
