Eva W. Odoi, PhD’s educational background is quite diverse. It includes a BS in Agriculture and MS in Soil Science from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a PhD degree (Soil Science) from the University of Guelph in Ontario Canada. In addition to her appointment in the Department of Public Health, she holds an adjunct assistant professor position in Department of Biosystems Engineering and Soils Sciences at the University of Tennessee.
She is interested in understanding the connections between environmental and public health. Her current research interests include investigating health disparities, identifying determinants, including environmental drivers of those disparities and forecasting disease risks.
